Wie funktioniert colormap genau?
Also nach welchen "Kriterien" gibt MatLab eine gewisse Farbe?

Hallo,
Die Verteilung der Farben hängt maßgeblich von dem verwendeten Befehl zur Visualisierung ab und ist dort entsprechend dokumentiert.
Beispiel pcolor:
