Titel: Write from text file to annotation box
|
 |
Hi everyone,
I've got a problem which keeps me busy and I don't really get near it:
How can I read 10 lines from a txt file (containing both numbers and strings) and attach this information to a fig plot file? The information does not need to be actually visible, but somehow implemented in the figure.
My idea was to read the lines with textscan and write them in an annotation box, which was to hide. But - I really have not figured out how to achieve this. Any brilliant mind share his thoughts on this?
Thx in advance!
Chris

Dear Chr1sB,
This is actually a German forum.
What about storing these 10 lines as cell string in the figure's UserData?
Kind regards, Jan

Dear Jan,
thanks very much, awsome idea! The concept of UserData was not familiar to me, but this is exactly what I was looking for. It totally works
..and btw: that's the reason I rely on this forum
